Advanced Learning Space for Children
The Davidson Institute approached us to personalize their LMS. Our goal was to create an engaging learning experience through adaptive games tailored to students' pace and skill levels. We also developed multi-stage learning paths to support individual progress. We were pleased to meet this challenge and deliver a meaningful and interactive learning environment for students.
The Challenge
To utilize design elements, visual cues, and interactive games to create a personalized learning experience. Students needed to advance through the learning path in an engaging manner, each at their own pace. Additionally, teachers required tools to assign various activities, add filters to quizzes, and adjust content to match the students' levels. An example of an interactive game is the "Family Tree," which intriguingly explains the field of genetics.
How We Achieved It
We developed a customized course format on the Moodle platform and implemented necessary adjustments and upgrades. We added activity filters for learners by creating predefined criteria and adjusted the visual elements of the quiz component, such as adding filters by question type. Here are some examples:
- Visual Design: Providing personalized course appearances with custom backgrounds, colors, and creative games for interactive learning.
- Personalization: Allowing teachers to assign specific activities to students and create milestone-based learning paths for visual progress tracking.
- Advanced Management: Enabling tailored content management with threaded topics and quiz filters to categorize students by their levels.

The Outcome – New Learning Opportunities
With our new developments and visual adjustments in Moodle, we've enabled asynchronous learning and created an intuitive interface for adding creative content to courses.
